The week of August 17th, you will receive a phone call and letter with information regarding your child’s teacher and learning session. If you do not hear from Washington School by Friday, August 21st, please call us to ensure we have your accurate phone number and address. As we begin the school year with Comprehensive Distance Learning, each K-5 student will be given a small school supply packet when they pick up their Chromebook on September 1st or 2nd. Once we are able to open our school doors and have in-person learning, we will share a list of needed school supplies that your child will need to bring to school.
Certainly, we are not opening school in the manner that we had all hoped. So again, thank you for your patience as we have worked through the pandemic.
Earlier today, I sent an update regarding the Pendleton School District’s Comprehensive Distance Learning plan.
All of you should have received a message from your child’s school last evening, describing what our initial plans are to implement Comprehensive Distance Learning.
In light of the metrics that the state has required for our school district to provide in-person
instruction, we will start the year with comprehensive distance learning.
