The Pendleton School Board met with superintendent search consultants Dr. Bill Jordan and Sergio Hernandez to discuss the superintendent search process and establish key timelines for the process. The District recently selected the search firm Northwest Leadership Associates to assist the Board in the search process. Mr. Sergio Hernandez of NWLA will be working with Dr. Jordan. The two have experience as school leaders, including experience serving in the superintendent role. Both men have worked with a number of districts in the search process. Chair Lynn Lieuallen also noted that “Dr. Jordan and Mr. Hernandez reside in Walla Walla, which provides them first-hand knowledge of our local region.”

The Board will be seeking stakeholder input as part of the process. “We deeply value and will be seeking input from our staff, parents and community members,” stated Lieuallen. She encourages all to take advantage of the opportunities that will be provided shortly after the first of the year.
